All cities of the French Riviera prepare each year wonderful decorations for Christmas and for the New Year Eve, as christmas markets (those of Monaco and Nice are especially incredible). In each small chalets, some local artisans propose you their specialties : cooking, decorating, playful (jewels, toys, bags, delicatessen…).
Christmas markets in our region are particularly known for their « Santons », these clay figurines are realized for the decoration of the Nativity scene, typical of Provence. The markets are held the last three weeks of December.
